Rev. Susie Joyce officiated my wedding on February 28, 2009. Through A Beautiful Affair of the Heart Group, I was introduced to Rev. Susie Joyce. When I first contacted her, I felt at ease talking to her over the phone. Though I was overwhelmed and have lined up questions regarding the wedding ceremony process, Susie was able to answer all my questions diligently and patiently. She understood all my concerns and listened carefully to my expectations. In creating the program, Susie assisted in finalizing the wedding ceremony draft, adding important part and deleting parts that are not necessary. Susie's willingness to offer suggestions and advised when I was confused has helped tremendously not only in the making of the ceremony but also in the success of the rehearsal day and the wedding day.

Rev. Joyce was just the person that we needed to officiate our wedding! We were able to discuss with him before the wedding how we wanted our ceremony to be.... we are not a traditional couple and wanted to have a lot of humor and love throughout. Tom made sure that we had included everything that would make the ceremony fit us. We had several compliments after the ceremony that our officiant did such a great job!! Thanks Tom!!"

"Tom was great! If you are looking for a ceremony where you are able to put a lot of your own input in, then this is your guy. He basically let us do whatever we wanted. He provided us with a basic outline of what he usually does and then let us fill in and delete as needed. We wrote our own vows and ring ceremony and also added in a sand ceremony that went beautifully. He was very helpful along the way with questions and suggestions. His wife also does ceremonies if you are interested.

Rev. Thomas Joyce officiated our wedding for us and we couldn't be happier with our wedding ceremony. We met with him and his wife Susie (also an officiant!) in person at their home to discuss our wedding ceremony in detail, and they are both wonderful, friendly, down to earth people. While we didn't want a lengthy wedding ceremony, we wanted something a bit more personal than just the traditional service a justice of the peace could provide. We worked with Tom to choose every detail, including the readings, vows, and the order everything was done. He did a great job covering everything during the rehearsal in great detail--he made sure that everyone was on the same page and that we were completely happy and comfortable with the plans. Our ceremony went off without a hitch, and our family and friends are still commenting on how beautiful it was :)

I just wanted to take a moment and thank you so much for the wonderful ceremony that you helped us create. Our wedding was beautiful, and the ceremony couldn't have been more perfect.
I appreciate that although we were planning the wedding from afar, you took the time to get to know our needs and wants as couple. The process was simple, and I liked the many options that we were given for wording and order of ceremony.
The most important and meaningful part of our ceremony was the inclusion of our children. You helped make our wedding truly reflective of the importance of our family. The ceremony between my husband and my oldest child was especially meaningful. The option of including him in his own part of the ceremony brought our relationships full circle. It was more than a wedding...it was truly the joining of a family.
Our wedding was a true reflection on what matters to us, and I thank you for making our day so special.
